Our national leaders in assessment, accountability, and data use serve many states as members of technical advisory committees (TACs). But we also help school districts and state educational agencies (SEAs) to set up and administer these important committees. Our TAC services include:
- Recruitment—Our comprehensive knowledge of who’s who in the measurement and educational data community can help your agency staff its TAC.
- Participation—Many of our staff came from leadership positions in districts, SEAs, or the US Department of Education; they have prepared material for assessment and accountability peer review, and they have served as reviewers. As TAC members, our staff can support your agency in reporting technical material to non-technical groups, such as legislative committees or your state board of education.
- Administration—Our team will partner with staff at your agency to plan the calendar for TAC meetings, handle meeting logistics and facilitation, compensation and travel reimbursement for TAC members, and meeting documentation.
