Scan of CCSS Implementation Tools for States and Districts
This memorandum presents the results of an initial scan of states, large school districts, and educational organizations for resources that have been developed for use in the measurement of standards implementation across states and LEAs. Resources include tools, surveys, rubrics, and the reports resulting from resources used to track and evaluate the implementation of standards.
Alaska Standards for Culturally-Responsive Schools
The Assembly of Alaska Native Educators developed the Alaska Standards for Culturally-Responsive Schools to support the development of culturally-healthy students and communities. These standards are designed to be complementary to statewide standards, providing guidance for developing practices that connect learning to students’ lives and contexts.
