Achievement Level Setting
In this this resource, the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium describes the process it used to engage with the public as it sought to create achievement levels. Over the course of several weeks, teachers, administrators, higher education faculty, community and business leaders, parents, and others, collaborated with consortia members to inform the development of the achievement levels that are used today.
