This resource provides an overview of the required evidence states need to submit to demonstrate alignment to the Every Student Succeeds Act’s Critical Elements. To support state education agency staff in identifying and compiling evidence, the Center on Standards and Assessment Implementation created this resources to organize evidence according to each of the Critical Elements. State education agency staff can use this resource while collecting evidence of their states’ assessment systems’ technical quality.
