What California Teachers are Saying About Their Instructional Materials for English Learner Students
As part of efforts to inform California education leaders about key policy topics impacting California schooling, California Analysis for Learning and Engagement has developed a series of research briefs to share pertinent research analysis.
Elizabeth Burr, Ryan Lewis, and Eric W. Crane have developed this brief to provide insight into California teachers’ perceptions of using district- and school-provided classroom materials and the efficacy of those materials in instructing English learner students. This brief analyzes results from a national survey of teachers, focusing on California teachers’ responses and perceptions of provided instructional materials across different content areas.
