NGSS Evidence Statements for High School
The NGSS evidence statements for high school provide additional details about what students should know and be able to do at the end of instruction to demonstrate proficiency for each high school performance expectation in the NGSS. Further, the evidence statements describe how students can use the practices, crosscutting concepts, and disciplinary core ideas (three dimensions) to demonstrate proficiency for the performance expectations. They are intended to identify clear, measurable components that can be used when designing assessments for the NGSS. The evidence statements were developed by many of the members of the NGSS writing team.
