State Education Agency Common Core Implementation Progress and Capacity Rubric
From the U.S. Education Delivery Institute (EDI) and Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), this tool is a resource for leaders at the state education agency level to help them self-assess progress and understand how the Common Core State Standards are being implemented across the state. This resource uses definitions and evidence of “strong” and “weak” implementation along a four-point scale. Updated in 2015.
This is a great resource to help state education agencies evaluate their CCSS implementation. It is good in terms of both breadth and depth. The methods of evaluation to use with the rubric are embedded in the rubric itself. The rubric is both clear and concise, and could be applicable to all states as they monitor their progress.
